Public Assistance Applicant Briefings
All state agencies, counties, cities, special districts, and eligible private non-profit organizations that provide an essential governmental service, located in a declared county that incurred costs or sustained damage as a direct result of a declared disaster, should attend the applicant's briefing for information specific to the event. All potential applicants must submit an application to the California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA) in order to apply for federal and state financial assistance.
